ABOUT Cheesy Rice RECIPE

A simple dish with loads of cheese and veggies very mildly flavoured.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice 1 cup
  2. Mixed veg - carrots beans and sweetcorn 1 cup
  3. Onion and garlic 1 each
  4. 1cup Milk
  5. 1tsp cornflour
  6. butter as required
  7. mixed herbs 1/2 tsp
  8. Chilli flakes 1/4 tsp
  9. 3 cubes cheese

Instructions

  1. First take milk in a pan boil. Then mix cornflour and keep stirring the milk till it thickens. Put off the flame.
  2. Next take butter in a fry pan . Put onion and garlic saut till translucent. Put veggies and saute.
  3. Mix it in prepared sauce.
  4. Make rice in a big pan taking care to boil it till little left to be done.
  5. Mix this rice with the sauce and veggies.
  6. Put salt and the mixed herbs . Put chilly flakes and cheese cubes grated . Mix it well.
  7. Can be served as it is or can be baked for 10 min and served in a bowl.
  8. Children simply love it but elders too enjoy this.
  9. Can have just like this or can with salsa. Enjoy
