Ingredients to make Cheese Stuffed Soft Garlic Bombs

  • For the Buns:
  • Lukewarm water 1 cup
  • yeast 2 tbsp
  • sugar 2 tbsp
  • garlic powder 2 tsp
  • butter, melted 1/4 cup
  • olive Oil 1/4 cup
  • All-purpose flour 3 cups
  • salt 2 tsp
  • For Filling:
  • Mozzarella cheese 8 ounce
  • For topping:
  • butter, melted 3 tbsp
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 cup
  • Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
  • Fresh basil, finely chopped 1 tbsp (optional)

How to make Cheese Stuffed Soft Garlic Bombs

  1. Mix together the yeast and water and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar, garlic powder, melted butter, and oil.
  3. Add little flour at a time, mixing in your stand mixer with a dough hook.
  4. Add the salt.
  5. Knead for 10 minutes, in the stand mixer or by hand.
  6. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a wet cloth for about 30 minutes to double in volume.
  7. While the dough is resting, cut mozzarella cheese into 14 pieces and set aside.
  8. Preheat the oven to 190 degree Celsius.
  9. Once the dough is doubled, divide it into 14 pieces or so (you can make them as big or small as you want).
  10. Slightly flatten the dough balls and place the cheese and cover it tightly and make a smooth ball.
  11. Put the pinched side down on a greased baking sheet.
  12. Brush each bun with melted butter and sprinkle some cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese.
  13. Bake at 190 degree Celsius for about 12-15 minutes.
  14. Serve warm.

My Tip:

1. I have used 200 ml measuring cup. 2. You can also reheat them in microwave for 15 seconds and enjoy them. 3. Try it with your own favorite cheese. 4. To make the top crusty, bake for more 2-3 minutes or until golden brown in color.
