Ingredients to make Besan Nankhatai

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1/4 cup maida
  • 1/4 cup sooji
  • 1/3 cup white butter (room temperature )
  • 2 tbsp of powdered sugar
  • 1tbsp of cardamom powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Crushed pistachios to garnish

How to make Besan Nankhatai

  1. Mix white butter and sugar in a bowl and whip it for 5-7 mins till it turns creamy.
  2. Now add all other ingredients to this slowly( except pistachios )
  3. Mix gently . Do not knead the dough
  4. Now make small lemon sized balls and set them on a greased baking sheet keeping distance between them since they increase in volume while baking.
  5. Bake them for 20 minutes at 180C
  6. Enjoy hot.

U r rt. Sunita . The quantity should b round about 1 cup.. I make only with Maida (3 cups) sugar nd butter r in equal amt.(1 cup each). U can try this if u want nd tell ur feedback.
