Sprouts Omelette/Chilla Sandwich

Ingredients to make Sprouts Omelette/Chilla Sandwich

  • Moong sprouts 1/2 cup
  • gram flour/besan 1/4 cup
  • Rice flour 1/4 Cup
  • onions grated 1
  • tomato puree 3 tsp
  • garlic minced 1 tsp
  • curd 2 tsp
  • Pav bhaji masala 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves chopped handful
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Bread slices 4
  • Cheese slices 2
  • onion thinly sliced 1
  • tomatoes roundels 1
  • Green chutney 3-4 tbsp
  • tomato ketchup 3-4 tbsp
  • oil 4 Tsp

How to make Sprouts Omelette/Chilla Sandwich

  1. Steam moong sprouts upto 1 whistle in cooker.
  2. In a bowl mix rice flour, gram flour, onion, tomatoes, garlic, and steamed sprouts. Add all above mentioned spices. Add coriander leaves.
  3. Mix curd to this batter.
  4. Make a semi solid paste.
  5. Pour ladel full of this mix on greased tawa/skillet.
  6. On medium flame cook it on both sides evenly by basting oil.
  7. Now assemble sandwich :
  8. Apply green chutney on one slice of bread. Apply tomato ketchup on the other.
  9. Lay onion and tomato slices over it.
  10. Place sprouts omelette/chilla over it.
  11. Place a cheese slice over it.
  12. Cover with tomato ketchup slice.
  13. Grill the sandwich.
  14. Grill in Sandwich griller

My Tip:

You can make it with 3 bread slices like club sandwich also.
