Ingredients to make Jain Vegetable Burger

  • To make patties:
  • 2 boiled raw bananas
  • 1 cup boiled peas
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • To fry patties:
  • oil as required
  • 1 cup all purpose flour slurry
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • Vegetables for burger:
  • 1 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • Other Ingredients:
  • 2 Cheese slices
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp jain ketchup
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes

How to make Jain Vegetable Burger

  1. Patties preparation:
  2. In a mixing bowl, add boiled and mashed raw bananas, boiled peas, carrot, all other ingredients and mix it well.
  3. Make the circular patties from that stuffing and dip into all purpose flour slurry. Rub that into fresh bread crumbs and deep fry them.
  4. Burger preparation:
  5. Cut the burger buns into half, put them on a non stick pan which is greased with butter.
  6. Now apply butter on the base bun, put tomato and cucumber slices. Place the patty on it, apply mayonnaise and ketchup. Then put lettuce and the cheese slice.
  7. Put the second half of the bun on top and serve it with fresh fries and drink!
