Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 cups of all purpose flour
  2. 3/4 cup of butter
  3. 3/4 cup of sugar
  4. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  5. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  6. Orange and green gel colour
  7. Few chocochips

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl cream butter, vanilla essence and sugar together till light & fluffy.
  2. Mix all purpose flour, salt and baking powder together in another bowl.
  3. Mix dry ingredients in wet ingredients and make soft dough.
  4. If the dough seems hard then you can adjust it with the help of milk.
  5. Divide the dough into three parts.
  6. Mix orange colour in one part and green in another part. Leave one part as it is.
  7. Keep the three dough in the fridge for half hour, covered with cling film.
  8. Now roll the dough separately with the help of rolling pin in square shape.
  9. Set the 3 squares one by one. First orange then white on it, again green on it.
  10. Roll it tightly like a log, wrap it in cling film and keep it in fridge for 1 hour or till set.
  11. Grease the baking tray and preheat the oven.
  12. Cut slices of the log and set it in baking tray. Bake it at 180 degree C for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
