ABOUT Heart Cookies RECIPE

The lovely hearts filled with the deliciousness and flavour of butter.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. butter - 1 cup
  2. Maida - 2 cups
  3. Icing sugar - 3/4th cup
  4. Vanilla essence - 1.5 tsp
  5. Cornflour - 1 tbsp
  6. Red food color - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. The butter should be at room temperature and soft.
  2. Whisk it to make it fluffy using an electric beater. Mix in the icing sugar, vanilla essence and food colour.
  3. Now fold in the cornflour, and the maida to form a dough.
  4. Cover it with cling film, refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll it and cut into shapes with cookie cutter.
  6. Bake them at 160 degree Celsius for 10 minutes in a preheated oven.
