Ingredients to make Orange Blossom Madeleine Cookies

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cups butter
  • 1 and quarter cup of maida or all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp orange blossom or kewra essence
  • chopped cashews

How to make Orange Blossom Madeleine Cookies

  1. Fold the powdered sugar and butter and whisk well.
  2. Add the essence and maida or all purpose flour.
  3. Mix well, the cookie dough should not stick to your hands.
  4. Add the chopped cashews and mix well.
  5. In a Madeleine pan, press the dough into shapes.
  6. Bake on 350 Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
  7. If a Madeleine pan is not available, we can also cut dough into squares.
