Vegetable Salad with Dip

Ingredients to make Vegetable Salad with Dip

  • Vegetable for salad: One each of carrot, bell pepper (all 3 colours), beetroot, cucumber and spring onion.
  • For the dip: paneer/cottage cheese. 100 gms
  • Curd/yoghurt. 2 tbsp
  • Green chili. 1
  • lime juice. 1/2 tsp
  • tomato sauce. 1 tbsp
  • Mint leaves/ pudina. 1/2 cup
  • Paste of sauteed green pepper and onion. 2 tbsp
  • mustard seeds. 1 tsp
  • salt. To taste

How to make Vegetable Salad with Dip

  1. Cut vegetables for salad lengthwise and refrigerate them.
  2. Cut one small size onion and bell pepper and saute in little oil and keep.
  3. In a mixie jar take crumbled paneer, green chili, salt, mustard seeds, mint leaves and the sauteed onions and bell pepper and grind to smooth paste.
  4. Add tomato sauce, curd, and lime juice and blend again to mix well.
  5. Remove and serve this dip with chilled vegetables.

My Tip:

Eating raw vegetables that are high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants helps boost energy and immunity. The spicy dip tastes yummy.
