Ingredients to make GREEN APPLE SPROUTS BURGER

  • Grated green apple- 1 no
  • Grated pear- 1/2 no
  • Boiled moong sprouts- 1 cup
  • Boiled rice- 2 cups
  • Breadcrumbs- 1/ cup
  • Salt per taste
  • Garam masala-- 1 tsp
  • Amchoor powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder- 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves- a handful
  • Chopped green chillies- as desired
  • Chopped onion- 1
  • Grated ginger- a small piece
  • Black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Mayonnaise- as required
  • Chopped onions cucumbers- as required
  • Chopped tomatoes- as required
  • Semolina - as required
  • Oil to shallow fry

How to make GREEN APPLE SPROUTS BURGER

  1. Mix boiled sprouts, grated fruits, boiled rice, garam masala, Amchur powder, pepper powder, chilli powder, salt and mix well.
  2. Now add breadcrumbs, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chillies , chopped onions and grated ginger and mix well.
  3. Now make flat discs out of the mixture and keep aside.
  4. In another plate spread semolina and now coat the flattened balls with it and keep in the fridge for 15 mins.
  5. Heat oil in a pan take the flattened balls add put in pan and cook till golden brown.
  6. Flip to the other side and do the same
  7. Now cut the burger bun into half and spread mayonnaise over it
  8. Put chopped onions, tomatoes and cucumbers on it
  9. Place shallow fried green apple sprouts patty over it
  10. Place the other half of the bun on top and serve

My Tip:

Always try to have shallow fried ones as they are healthier.
