Stuffed Chilli Bajji

Ingredients to make Stuffed Chilli Bajji

  • Long bajji green chillies 8
  • oil for frying
  • For Filling:
  • Potatoes - 2 boiled, peeled and mashed
  • fennel 1 tsp powdered
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • cumin 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves - little
  • For batter:
  • gram flour 1 cup
  • cornflour 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • water

How to make Stuffed Chilli Bajji

  1. Mix gram flour, cornflour, salt, minced coriander leaves and chilli powder together. Add water little by little to form a thick batter
  2. Mix well all the ingredients listed under the filling section. Add little salt just enough for filling. Keep aside.
  3. Take bajji chilli. Slit in the center and put potato filling. Then coat each chilli with batter and fry in oil.
  4. Serve hot with green chutney.
