Ingredients to make Cross Over Pizza

  • Refined flour - 2 cups
  • Dry yeast - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil - 1/3 cup

How to make Cross Over Pizza

  1. 1. Start by adding 2 tbsp warm water into the yeast and sugar portion. Allow to get activated, say some 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Make a well in the flour, pour in the yeast mixture. Pour in oil, and enough warm water gradually to make a smooth dough.
  3. 3. Cover the dough and allow to settle for 2 hours.
  4. 4. Take out the dough, knead well and make desired shapes.
  5. 5. In this Cross over pattern, I had rolled the dough into oval shape. And placed generous amount of grated cheese and topped with seasoned veggies. Again top with some whole cheese. Now slit the sides of the oval with 1 inch gap between each slit. Take the slit and roll over the middle portion. Like cross belts.
  6. 6. In a pre heated Oven, bake the Pizza for 10 minutes at 200 deg C.

My Tip:

Can make desired pizza base shapes, thin or thick.
