ABOUT Butter Kulcha with Twist RECIPE

Butter Kulcha is a famous tandoori bread. It goes well with Butter paneer, Dal Makhni , Chole and Matar. I love to eat it with lots of butter, nothing else :)

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour (Maida) 2 cups
  2. Baking powder ½ tsp
  3. Baking Soda ½ tsp
  4. Sugar 1 tsp
  5. Curd 2 tbsp
  6. Salt As per taste
  7. Luke warm milk 1 cup
  8. Olive oil 2 tbsp
  9. Water ½ cup
  10. Chopped Beetroot ½ cup
  11. Chopped Beans ½ cup
  12. Chopped Onions ½ cup
  13. Chopped capsicum ½ cup
  14. Amul Lite Butter 150 gm

Instructions

  1. Mix Flour, Baking powder, Baking soda, Sugar, Salt, Curd and oil in a pan.
  2. Make a well in the middle.
  3. Add lukewarm milk , water and mix it well.
  4. Knead the dough for 10-15 minutes.
  5. The dough will be sticky, so take a little bit of butter on your hands and knead it again for 5 minutes.
  6. Cover the dough with clean wrap and let it rest for 2 hours.
  7. After 2 hours, take out the dough on a clean surface and punch it back.
  8. Take a portion of the dough and roll out with a rolling pin.
  9. Sprinkle all the chopped vegetables and press those little bit.
  10. Preheat the oven at 200 C for 5 minutes.
  11. Place rolled Kulcha on a greased tray and grill it for 10 minutes.
  12. Once done, apply lots of Butter and serve hot with your choice of vegetable.
