About Bedami Poori Recipe

A traditional indian breakfast from Uttar Pradesh

Bedami Poori

Ingredients to make Bedami Poori

  • wheat flour- 1 cup
  • urad dal- 1/2 cup
  • asafoetida a pinch
  • red chilly powder to taste
  • Aniseed powder to taste
  • Aamchur powder to taste
  • Dry ginger powder to taste
  • Garam masala to taste
  • salt to taste
  • oil - 2tbsp
  • gram flour 1/2 cup
  • maida 1/2 cup

How to make Bedami Poori

  1. Take 1 cup wheat flour with half cup gram flour and half cup maida. Add salt and 2 tbsp of oil. Knead together and keep aside. Par boil the Urad dal.
  2. Now grind the dal with all the balance ingredients and make a paste .
  3. Make small balls of the flour mixture and stuff some dal mixture in it. Roll it flat as a poori. Deep fry.

My Tip:

Serve with Aloo
