MILK POWDER KHEER KADAM

Ingredients to make MILK POWDER KHEER KADAM

  • FOR THE MILK POWDER MAWA-
  • Milk powder- 200 gm
  • Milk- 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
  • Ghee- 2 tbsp
  • FOR THE RASOGULLA
  • Cottage cheese- 200 gm
  • Maida- 3 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder- a pinch
  • Yellow food color
  • FOR THE SUGAR SYRUP
  • Water- 2 cups
  • Sugar- 1 cup
  • Other ingredients-
  • Crushed and fried paneer
  • Crushed broken cashews

How to make MILK POWDER KHEER KADAM

  1. First for the Rasogulla-
  2. Knead the cottage cheese and maida till smooth. Add cardamom powder and yellow food color to it. Now make small balls and keep aside.
  3. Now take water and sugar in a sauce pan and boil till sugar melts. Add chenna balls and cook for about 15 mins OR until the rasogullas start to float.
  4. Remove the rasogulla and keep aside to cool down.
  5. Now make milk powder mawa-
  6. Heat pan and add milk powder, ghee and milk to the pan and cook till the powder absorbs all the water and looks like a thick paste.
  7. Remove from the pan and keep aside.
  8. Cover all the rasgullas, previously made with a layer of the mawa mixture, using your hands.
  9. Now mix fried crushed paneer and cashew bits. Roll the rasgullas onto the above mixture to coat evenly and serve
  10. HAPPY COOKING AND SERVING
My Tip: if you cannot buy mawa or khoya or if its hard to make khoya from milk you can use milk powder for making homemade mawa
