Chicken Galettes

Ingredients to make Chicken Galettes

  • For the dough
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of semolina
  • 1/2 cup chilled butter ( chopped )
  • 2 tbsp chilled water
  • For the Filling :
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 cup of boneless chicken
  • 1 tsp chopped chillies
  • 1/4 cup of spinach leaves
  • salt to taste
  • White pepper powder
  • 1 /2 cup grated cheese

How to make Chicken Galettes

  1. In a bowl mix APF and semolina. Now add chopped butter and mix it. The texture appears crumbly.
  2. Now add water and rub it for 5-10 secs. Cover the dough with cling film and refrigerate for half an hour and let the gluten set.
  3. In a pan add oil and put garlic. Stir till golden. Now add chillies chicken and spinach. Add salt mix well. Cover for a minute. Switch off the flame.
  4. Now take out the dough. Take a lemon sized ball and roll it. Now put the stuffing in the centre and lift up the sides one by one and cover it by tucking the sides to each other.
  5. Sprinkle cheese. Bake for 15 mins at 230c. Enjoy hot. HAPPY COOKING !!
