ABOUT Tri Coloured Rasgulla Flag With Three Different Flavors RECIPE

Rasgullas are everyones favourite and so are mine. These tricolor rasgullas have three different flavours to tickle your tastebuds, hope you all will enjoy it.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2 litre Full Cream Milk
  2. 1 1/4 cup Sugar
  3. 3 tbsp Curd
  4. 4 cups of water
  5. 2 peppermints powdered
  6. A pinch of edible green color
  7. Few strands of saffron powdered and mixed with 2 drops of milk
  8. A pinch of saffron colour
  9. A pinch of fennel powder

Instructions

  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed vessel.
  2. When it starts to boil, switch off and add curd and mix properly.
  3. Once combined again place it in gas and cook till the whey separates and you are left with only cottage cheese or paneer.
  4. Remove the paneer/ cottage cheese in a muslin cloth and wash thoroughly.
  5. Now knead till your hands are greasy and when shaped into a ball the cottage cheese doesn't have any cracks.
  6. Divide the cottage cheese mixture in three parts.
  7. Into one part add edible saffron color and finely powdered saffron mixed with few drops of milk.
  8. Into another part, add fennel powder.
  9. Into third part add edible green color and powdered peppermint.
  10. Roll all this into equal sized balls.
  11. Now take 3 separate vessels add 4 tbsp sugar in each vessel and add 1 cup of water in each vessel.
  12. When the water starts to rolling boil stage add the cottage cheese balls and cook till 10 mins.
  13. After 10 mins, remove rasgullas and keep it aside.
  14. In a separate vessel, add remaining sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring it to boil, add these rasgullas.
  15. For plating arrange it in the order of Indian Flag.
