Tiranga Dosa

Ingredients to make Tiranga Dosa

  • 1 kg Dosa batter use any of your choice
  • salt as per taste
  • 3 tblspoon Green mint chutney
  • 2 tblspn paneer makhani paste (use ready paste or powders available )for taste effect
  • A pinch of red tandoori colour added to the makhani paste
  • oil to grease dosa Tawa
  • 100 grams butter
  • Optional use green chilli sauce as preferred

How to make Tiranga Dosa

  1. Mix dosa batter add water so as to make spread consistency
  2. Take 2cup batter each in 3 Different bowls
  3. Add salt only in one batter, keep white
  4. Add Green mint chutney ( any available)in the second batter bowl and mix well
  5. Add paneer makhani powder or paste in third batter bowl(use Tandoori colour for orange effect)
  6. Mix all three separately and keep ready
  7. Now heat dosa tava and bring down from flame
  8. Now start outer spread with the orange color , as in our national flag
  9. Second layer fill up and spread with white
  10. Third spread the green batter in centre and complete the dosa
  11. Now put back tawa on fast flame
  12. Add oil from sides of dosa to crisp it
  13. Slow flame now and change side to cook other side of dosa
  14. Once done remove in a plate
  15. Repeat above steps for rest of the dosas
  16. Serve Hot with coconut chutney plain or butter asap

My Tip:

Heat Tawa for few seconds only and bring down to pour batters for Dosa if batter left use similarly for sandwich Dosa Can make 3 different small dosas of all 3colours and apply cheese spread between two and schezwan between the next cut out and have as sandwich as shown in display picture
