Ingredients to make Bhindhi

  • bhindi/ ladyfingers 1/2 kg
  • onions sliced 4
  • tomatoes chopped 3
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • pomegranate seed powder 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • green chillies chopped 4-5
  • Degi mirch 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Pav bhaji masala 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Bhindhi

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add pomegranate powder, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, chilli powder and onions. Saute till golden brown.
  2. Add tomatoes and mix well.
  3. When oil separates, add bhindi and salt. Mix and then cover. Cook on a low heat till done.
  4. Add pav bhaji masala and serve hot.

My Tip:

Let it dry or dry with a kitchen towel.
