How to make Broccoli chicken Khichadi

  1. Marinate the chicken with curd, salt, turmeric and ginger.
  2. Refrigerate for minimum of 1 hour.
  3. Pressure cook till soft.
  4. Prepare khichadi by adding a little water used in cooking chicken.
  5. Heat oil in a kadhai, add jeera, bay leaf and cinnamon stick. Add onion and saute for a while.
  6. Add in the garlic and saute. Add broccoli and saute for 5 to 7 minutes.
  7. Add all the masalas mentioned, according to taste. (Less spicy for kids.)
  8. Add small pieces of chicken, saute for 5 minutes. Add khichadi and eventually add in the rest of the ghee.

My Tip:

You also can add masoor daal. Make soft khichadi as serving to kids. For adults add chilli flakes while serving.
