Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup suji
  2. 4 bolied potatoes
  3. 1 cup curd
  4. water
  5. salt
  6. 1/4 tbsp Eno fruit salt
  7. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tbsp Garam masala
  9. 1/2 tbsp khatai
  10. 1/4 tbsp turmeric
  11. Grated carrot
  12. capsicum (slit in stripes)
  13. finely chopped coriander
  14. 4 tbsp oil
  15. Mustard seeds
  16. curry leaves
  17. Grated paneer


  1. Take suji and add curd. Now add water and salt to it and allow it to rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In the meanwhile prepare the stuffing for idli
  3. In a kadhai add oil and heat till it's hot
  4. Now add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter
  5. Now add boiled mashed potatoes
  6. To the mixture add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, khatai, grated paneer and mix well
  7. Now set aside the stuffing and allow it to cool
  8. Take the idli maker and grease it will oil
  9. Add water to the idli maker and allow it to boil
  10. Meanwhile add Eno fruit salt to suji mixture
  11. Now add a small amount of mixture to the idli stand.make a small ball of stuffing and place on the suji batter on stand.
  12. Now cover the stuffing with a small amount of suji mixture
  13. Place the grated carrot, capsicum and chopped coriander on it
  14. Allow it to steam and cook for around 10 min
  15. When it's done let it cool and remove idli from stand
  16. Now prepare the tempering.For this, take a tadka pan and add 2 tbsp oil and heat
  17. Now add mustard seeds and allow to splutter
  18. To it add curry leaves.
  19. Pour the tempering on stuffed idlis
  20. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney
  21. Enjoy.
