These adorable Cinnamon Mini Apple Pie Tartlets make a delightful addition to a dessert buffet or snack tray. The lemon curd filling adds a unique flavor twist and it is surprisingly easy to prepare.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Finely chopped apple - 1 cup
  2. All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar - 3 tablespoons
  4. Ground cinnamon powder - 11/2 teaspoon
  5. cold butter - 1/4 cup
  6. Icing sugar for dusting
  7. Lemon curd - 1/4 cup
  8. Tart shells - 6 pieces
  9. Greated cheese - 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 180° for 10 minutes .
  2. In a bowl , combine the apples , cheese and lemon curd . Spoon into the turt shells .
  3. In another bowl , combine the flour , sugar and cinnamon powder , cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs . Spoon over apple mixture . Place on an greased baking sheet .
  4. Bake at 180° for 18 - 20 minutes or until golden brown . Cool on wire racks for 5 minutes .
  5. Dust with icing sugar and serve warm or at room temperature.
