Ingredients to make Eggless Microwave Fruit Cake

  • maida 1 1/4 cup
  • Cocoa powder 3 tbsp
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Powder sugar 1/2 cup
  • oil 4 tbsp
  • honey 4 tbsp
  • Tutti fruity 1/2 cup
  • almonds and Walnuts 3 tbsp (chopped)
  • water 1/2 cup

How to make Eggless Microwave Fruit Cake

  1. Take water in a microwave safe glass and heat it till the water is hot.
  2. In a bowl add tutti fruity, almonds and walnuts. Pour hot water over it and let it soak for 5 minutes.
  3. In the soaked fruits and nuts add sugar, oil, honey. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl take maida, cocoa powder and baking soda. Mix well.
  5. Now mix liquid fruit nut mix in maida mix. Mix it properly till the batter is smooth and no lumps are formed. Consistency of the batter should be thick but pouring.
  6. Grease microwave safe bowl and dust properly with atta (wheat flour).
  7. Now pour the batter in a bowl. It should be half filled not more then that.
  8. Microwave for 5 minutes. Leave it inside the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes (standing time).
  9. Remove it from the microwave and allow it to cool down. Invert on a plate and serve with ice cream.

My Tip:

Add sugar to taste. Add nuts of your choice.
