Ingredients Serving: 15

  1. 1 ½ cup Maida/ Wheat Flour
  2. 4 Ripe Bananas
  3. ½ cup castor sugar n for caramel 2 tsp sugar n 3 tsp water
  4. 1 tsp baking powder
  5. ½ tsp baking soda
  6. 1 pinch salt
  7. 2/3 cup oil/ ghee
  8. 1 tsp vanilla essesnce
  9. Dry fruits (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sieve the dry ingredients and keep it aside. In a blender, blitz powdered sugar and bananas very well. Add Ghee/Oil and Vanilla essence.
  2. Pour these wet ingredients in a vessel. Heat water and sugar for caramel till sugar turns golden red but don’t burn it.Mix it fast with the wet ingredients before it sticks.
  3. (The Caramel part is purely experimental guys. I didn’t wanna use any color so did the caramelization. If u wish u can completely avoid it. Though I got a good golden color.)
  4. Fold the dry ingredients little at a time with the wet ingredients. Combine the mixture very well.Don’t over beat the batter. If u find ur batter a bit dry add some warm milk and mix to the required cake consistency.
  5. Pour in a greased and lined pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35 min. Once done, let the cake cool down completely for 1 hr.
  6. Cut into desired shapes…and enjoy eating with your breakfast Milk/ Tea/Coffee.

Very yummy!! Tried with both maida n wheat flour. Both versions tasted good!!
