Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan 1 cup
  2. Suji 2 tbsp
  3. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  4. Sugar powdered 1 tbsp
  5. Turmeric powder just a pinch
  6. Olive oil 2 tbsp
  7. Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  8. Green chilli paste 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Eno 1 1/2 tsp
  11. For Tempering:
  12. Oil 1 tsp
  13. Mustered seeds 1 tsp
  14. Hing 1/2 pinch
  15. Green chillies cut in half 3
  16. Curry leaves 7-8
  17. Sugar 7 tbsp
  18. Water 1 3/4 cup
  19. Salt a pinch

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix besan, suji, powdered sugar, salt, turmeric, lemon juice, oil, ginger and green chilli paste.
  2. Mix with water and make a thick batter.
  3. Keep aside for half an hour.
  4. In the meantime heat oil, add mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves, salt, green chillies, water and sugar.
  5. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, put off the heat and add coriander leaves. Let it cool.
  6. Grease the dish. Just before pouring add eno.
  7. In a microwave cook for 5 minutes and let it stand for 3 minutes and then take out.
  8. Cut in desired shape, place in a serving bowl and pour the water on all the pieces.
