Roasted Almond and White chocolate Fudge

Ingredients to make Roasted Almond and White chocolate Fudge

  • Condensed milk - 400 gms
  • Light brown sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Golden syrup - 2 tbsp
  • butter - 100 gms
  • White chcolate buttons - 100 gms
  • Roasted almonds - 50 gms (slivered)

How to make Roasted Almond and White chocolate Fudge

  1. Mix condensed milk, sugar, golden syrup and butter in a thick bottomed vessel or non stick pan. Keep on a low flame and keep stirring often and then frequently.
  2. It has to become nice caramel colour, little harder than soft ball consistency. (To check, take a little and roll between your thumb and fore finger. It should hold the ball shape).
  3. At this stage turn off the gas, stir the white chocolate and mix till melted.
  4. Stir in slivered almond and mix.
  5. Pour onto a plate which is greased and lined with a baking paper. Press a little to half inch thickness.
  6. Keep in the fridge for 30 minutes or so and slice once set. Makes about 30 pieces.
