Ingredients to make Noodle Roll

  • Noodles boiled and strained 1 cup
  • cabbage 1/4 cup, shredded
  • carrot 1, shredded
  • 1 onion, sliced finely
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Little soy sauce 1 tsp
  • Little ketchup 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • chilly sauce 1 tsp
  • maida paste for sticking purpose - 1 tbsp and 1 tbsp water
  • Spring roll sheets as many as required
  • bread crumbs 1 cup

How to make Noodle Roll

  1. For the Filling: In a wok add oil and fry the onions, cabbage, carrot on a high flame for two minutes.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and fry on high flame for another two minutes. Add salt and all the sauces.
  3. Fry it on a high flame for 30 seconds and add in the boiled noodles.
  4. Toss it well and turn off the flame.
  5. Take a spring roll sheet and fill in the stuffing, once it cools, seal the edges with the maida paste and dip them in the flour and water mixture and roll it in crusty crumb. Deep fry them till crispy and brown.
  6. Enjoy it hot with a cup of hot chai.

My Tip:

I have tried the same with paneer and spicy chicken stuffings. You can roll the spring rolls in beaten egg before rolling it in the bread crumbs.
