Ingredients to make Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies

  • Brownie Ingredients :
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • egg 1
  • A pinch of salt (if you use unsalted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon red food colour
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • Cheese cake ingredients :
  • cream cheese 1 cup
  • sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Milk - 2 tablespoon
  • Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon

How to make Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree centigrade, grease a baking pan, then line with parchment paper.
  2. Combine egg or milk, sugar, vanilla essence and butter in a bowl. Mix properly, stir in food colouring.
  3. Add flour and cocoa and stir.
  4. Reserve 1/4 cup of brownie batter, pour remaining batter into the greased pan.
  5. For cream cheese layer, mix all the ingredients of cream cheese layer and beat together until smooth.
  6. Spread over brownie layer. Dollop red velvet batter on top and swirl using butter knife.
  7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Once baking is done, remove the pan from oven.
  8. Let cool for 30 minutes. Cut into pieces.

My Tip:

If you want to avoid egg, you can replace egg with 1/4 cup milk of normal temperature.
