Strawberry Mini Cakes

Ingredients to make Strawberry Mini Cakes

  • butter 100 gm
  • Fine sugar(Castor) 110 gm
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. Milk
  • Strawberry Filling:
  • 1 Strawberries sliced pack (10-12)
  • butter 3 tbsp
  • Ground nutmeg ½ teaspoon
  • Crumble topping :
  • flour 1 cups
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • butter 100 gm
  • Brown brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Topping
  • Choco chips 1/4 cup

How to make Strawberry Mini Cakes

  1. Preheat your oven at 160°C .
  2. First make the strawberry filling :slice the strawberries.Heat a sauce pan and add butter and sliced strawberries and nutmeg powder.
  3. Cook over low heat and cook until softened. Keep aside to cool.
  4. Cream(beat untill creamy) the butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add the egg and beat again till nicely blended.
  5. Add the flour, baking powder and milk and fold in nicely.
  6. To make the crumble, mix the flour, baking powder, butter and sugar in a bowl .Rub it with your hands until it resembles breadcrumbs. Set aside.
  7. Make sure its evenly spread.
  8. Next, put the crumble and and lastly ,sprinkle some choco. chips and mix a bit with the flour.
  9. 160°C Bake this at for 40 minutes or until golden.
