ABOUT Oeuf au Lait/French Baked Pudding RECIPE

WIth just four ingredients, you can simply whisk this French dessert with less efforts. Even a kid can prepare this French pudding with the help of an adult as this pudding calls for baking.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 ml milk
  2. 2 Eggs
  3. 1/4 cup Sugar
  4. 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat a oven for 180 degree centigrade, meanwhile heat 3 cups of water.
  2. Pour the milk into a pan with sugar and vanilla, bring everything to a boil and add the sugar, stir continuously until the sugar gets dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool until luke warm.
  3. Beat the eggs in an another bowl, slowly whisk the milk to the eggs and pour this mixture in ramekins.
  4. Arrange the ramekins in a large baking pan, pour the hot water around the ramekins and bake for 20 minutes until the mixture sets. Once cooled, arrange in fridge and let it sit for at least 2 hours before serving.
