(Winter Sweet) Carrot halwa topped with dry fruits

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Red coloured Carrots 8-10
  2. Ghee
  3. Cream Milk
  4. Dry fruits
  5. Sugar
  6. Cardoman powder

Instructions

  1. Rinse and grate the carrot in a grater.In a kadai,add ghee,add grated carrot and fry for few minutes till carrot gets shrinked .In a pressure cooker,add ghee fried carrot,add cream milk,little water.Pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles.Make sure the level of milk is correct.Or else it will be burnt.
  2. After pressure cooked,add sugar as per requirement
  3. Now simmer it well till milk gets evaporated and gets halwa gets thick consistency.
  4. In a pan,add ghee and fry the dry fruits .Add these ghee fried dry fruits to halwa
  5. Tasty Carrot halwa is ready. Serve it hot with dry fruits toppings
