Jeera Aloo

Ingredients to make Jeera Aloo

  • 3-4 potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - jeera seeds
  • 1 tbsp - Fresh coriander chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp - Oil/ghee
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • sendha namak/Salt to taste

How to make Jeera Aloo

  1. Chop the boiled potatoes into cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add the jeera seeds. Once they crackle, add the potatoes.
  3. Add turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt.
  4. Mix well and cook for 2-3 mins.
  5. Garnish with the finely chopped coriander.
  6. Serve hot with roti.
