Kolambi Che Lonche/Prawn Pickle

Ingredients to make Kolambi Che Lonche/Prawn Pickle

  • 1 cup Prawns
  • 3 tsp Bedekar readymade Pickle masala Powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilly Powder
  • ¼ tsp fenugreek seeds
  • ¼ tsp mustard seeds
  • salt, to taste
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon

How to make Kolambi Che Lonche/Prawn Pickle

  1. Clean, peel and de-vein the prawns. Marinate the prawns with Bedekar pickle masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and salt and keep it covered for 30 minutes.
  2. Head oil in a saucepan and when hot, add the fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds to it and let them splutter. Now add the prawns and let them cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. Turn off the flame and after letting it cool down a little, add lemon juice and consume right away or store it in a dry glass bottle.
