Pickled Cucumber

Ingredients to make Pickled Cucumber

  • 1 seedless cucumber
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2-3 black peppercorn
  • 1/4 tsp Yellow/white mustard seeds
  • 1 slice fresh ginger
  • salt as per taste

How to make Pickled Cucumber

  1. Slice the cucumber thinly.
  2. Combine the vinegar, sugar, salt, peppercorn, ginger, mustard seeds and salt in a clean and dry bottle and shake well.
  3. Add cucumber slices and leave the bottle for two days( you can also leave it in the fridge).
  4. Use as required after 2-3 days. Store refrigerated.

My Tip:

You can add sliced onions along with the cucumbers too.
