Lauki Kheer in Orange Bowls....

Ingredients to make Lauki Kheer in Orange Bowls....

  • 1 large bottle gourd grated
  • Condensed milk 3/4 can
  • Custard powder 3 tbsp
  • milk 1 litre
  • Nuts of choice for garnishing
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Orange segments few for garnishing

How to make Lauki Kheer in Orange Bowls....

  1. Boil milk in a non stick deep fry pan on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
  2. Keep stirring it at regular intervals.
  3. In a small cup of boiled milk , add custard powder and mix well. Add this mixture into the milk.
  4. Add in the grated bottle gourd and simmer on a low flame for 15 more minutes.
  5. Add cardamom powder, condensed milk and adjust the consistency accordingly.
  6. Serve it well garnished with nuts and a few orange segments either hot or cold.

My Tip:

Custard powder is optional.

Hi Zeenath, you have such beautiful recipes! My suggestion is to put the entire picture (instead of collage) as main picture). In a collage the beauty of the dish gets diminished somehow.
