Roasted Sakkarpara

Ingredients to make Roasted Sakkarpara

  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Black pepper powder
  • Roasted jeera as per taste
  • sesame seeds as per taste

How to make Roasted Sakkarpara

  1. Sieve wheat flour and baking powder.
  2. Add salt, pepper and jeera (coarse grounded). At last add in the sesame seeds.
  3. Add butter 1 1/2 tbsp, Knead the flour like for poori.
  4. Pre heat oven 180 degree centigrade.
  5. Roll out a big roti, apply butter with a brush.
  6. Cut squares of sakkarpara and bake for 5 minutes.
  7. Turn and again bake for 3 minutes.
