Ingredients to make Caramalized Sugar bowl with Sweet Makhana

  • 1 bowl of makhana
  • 1 bowl sugar + water for 1 strand of chasni
  • 2 tbsp desi ghee
  • 1/2 katori/bowl of sugar for sugar bowl

How to make Caramalized Sugar bowl with Sweet Makhana

  1. Take a wok, add the ghee and roast the makhana.
  2. Now take water in another wok, add in sugar and let it boil to make 1 strand of chasni. Now add the roasted makhana to it and turn the gas off while stirring continuously. This is ready!
  3. For the sugar bowl, melt the sugar in a pan till it's golden brown in colour.
  4. Now take a bowl, grease it with ghee and make a zig-zag line in the katori with the sugar.
  5. Once it's cooled down, demould your sugar bowl and it's ready to be served.

My Tip:

Be careful while melting the sugar.
