Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Groundnut - 1 cup
  2. Chopped small sized onion - 1/2 cup
  3. Green Chillies - 2
  4. Grounded Cardamom - 1/2 pinch
  5. Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
  6. Cloves - 2
  7. Cinnamon - 1 inch
  8. Grated Coconut - 2 tablespoon
  9. Chopped ginger - 1 teaspoon
  10. Chopped Garlic - 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Oil - 2 tablespoon
  12. Turmeric- 2 pinches
  13. Red chilli powder - as required
  14. Salt - to taste
  15. Water - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Boil the peanut with salt and water. Keep it aside.
  2. Grind the onion along with the spices provided in the ingredients.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add the grounded paste and fry until it turns golden brown in colour.
  4. Add the boiled peanuts along with water and turmeric. Cook it for 5 minutes on a low flame.
  5. Now add red chilli powder and cook it for 5 more minutes. Add salt if required.
  6. Once cooked properly, remove it from the stove. Garnish and serve it hot with rice or chapati.
