Ingredients to make Lotus seeds-nuts ladoo

  • 1 cup lotus seeds (makhana)
  • 2 tbsp cashews
  • 1 tbsp almond
  • 1 tbsp melon seeds
  • 3 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp kewra essence (optional)
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp raisins

How to make Lotus seeds-nuts ladoo

  1. Roast the lotus seeds in 1 tbsp ghee on a low flame.
  2. Dry roast the almond, cashews and melon seeds.
  3. Add everything into the mixer jar except the milkmaid, raisins and kewra essence. Grind it into powder form.
  4. Pour this powder into a bowl, add raisins, kewra essence and slowly pour in the condensed milk as we have to make a semi-soft dough of this powder to make the ladoo.
  5. Make the ladoo shapes with this mixture and garnish it with raisins and pistachios.
