Ingredients to make Fried Rasgulla with Vanilla Ice-cream and Caramelized Sauce

  • For the caramel sauce:
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Other Ingredients:
  • 2 rasgullas
  • 4 to 6 tbsp of cornflakes powder
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • ghee to deep fry
  • 2 scoop vanilla ice cream

How to make Fried Rasgulla with Vanilla Ice-cream and Caramelized Sauce

  1. To prepare the caramel sauce, mix all the ingredients mentioned for the caramel sauce, except the vanilla extract and boil it until the sugar dissolves and the sauce becomes little thick.
  2. Next add the vanilla extract and mix it well.
  3. To prepare the Fried Rasgullas, start by pressing the rasgullas and remove the excess syrup from it.
  4. Roll the rasgullas in the cornflour and cornflakes powder. Dip it lightly in the syrup and roll it again in the cornflakes powder.
  5. See that the rasgulla is fully covered with a thick layer of cornflake powder.
  6. Heat the ghee and deep fry these rasgullas.
  7. Serve it with vanilla ice cream and garnish it with caramel sauce.

My Tip:

Note: For a darker sauce instead of white sugar use brown sugar.
