Potato Rolls

Ingredients to make Potato Rolls

  • 1 and 1/2 cup maida/flour
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 3/4 tsp ghee
  • salt to taste
  • 3/4 cup boiled potatoes
  • 2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp aamchur powder
  • 1 tsp kismis/raisins
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Few coriander leaves

How to make Potato Rolls

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes and mix in the green chilli-ginger paste, raisins, aamchur powder, sugar, salt and coriander leaves in it. Keep aside.
  2. Make a dough from the flour and wheat flour, then roll chapatis from this dough that are big and thin in size.
  3. Spread the mixture of mashed potatoes over these chapatis and roll it carefully. Once they are rolled tightly, cut them into desired shapes.
  4. Dip the cut edges into sesame seeds.
  5. In a kadhai/pan heat oil to fry. Once it is hot, add the rolls one by one and let it fry on a low flame.
  6. Remove on absorbent paper and serve it with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
