Vanilla Souffle

Ingredients to make Vanilla Souffle

  • Softened butter 1 tbsp
  • all purpose flour 1 tbsp
  • Hot milk 1/2 cup
  • egg 1
  • Caster sugar 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • A pinch of salt

How to make Vanilla Souffle

  1. Brush 2 ramekins with butter and then coat it with sugar.
  2. Separate the egg yolk and white.
  3. Put butter in a saucepan on a medium heat. Add flour and stir with a wooden spoon for a minute.
  4. Next pour in hot milk and stir it properly. Then add vanilla and salt. Now add the egg yolk and mix it well.
  5. Beat the egg white until it's foamy. Add sugar little by little and continue beating till stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold the egg white with the sauce. Pour into the ramekin moulds.
  7. Baked in the preheated oven at 200 degrees celsius for 15 mins.

My Tip:

Put the buttered ramekin moulds in the fridge until needed.
