Ingredients to make Chocolatey Virginia Apple Pudding

  • Plain flour - 1.5 cup
  • sugar (powdered) - 3/4th cup
  • Baking powder- 1.5 tsp
  • baking soda- 1/4th tsp
  • Cocoa powder: 3 tsp
  • Coffee powder: 2 tsp
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • vinegar - 2 tsp
  • oil: 1/3rd cup
  • apple- 1 medium size
  • cinnamon powder- 1/2 tsp

How to make Chocolatey Virginia Apple Pudding

  1. Sieve the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and soda 2 to 3 times. Keep this aside.
  2. Now mix the coffee powder and vinegar with milk. Leave it aside for 10 mins.
  3. Peel and finely chop the apple. Add cinnamon powder to it and mix well. Microwave it for 2 mins.
  4. Now add the flour mix to the milk mixture in batches. Mix by cut and fold method, then add sugar and oil. Finally add the apple.
  5. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius.
  6. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 - 45 mins.
  7. Once cooked, leave it in the oven for 20 mins. Then let it cool in the wire rack.

My Tip:

I have added cocoa and coffee powder to make it more yummy.
