Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Kadayif:
  2. 150 gms of kadayif
  3. 5 tbsp of sugar
  4. 1 stick of butter
  5. 1 cup of dry grounded almonds
  6. Pudding:
  7. 1/2 litre milk
  8. 3/4 cup sugar
  9. 2 tbsp of corn starch
  10. 2 tbsp of refined flour
  11. 2 tbsp of vanilla extract
  12. 2 cups of whipped cream
  13. Honey with dry fruits

Instructions

  1. Add the butter to the pan at a medium flame. Let it totally melt. Now add the kadayif and keep stirring until it becomes a little brown in color.
  2. Then add the grounded almonds and sugar. Make sure the sugar mixes well but does not melt.
  3. Now turn off the stove and pour it into another bowl and let it totally cool down.
  4. To prepare the pudding, add the milk, sugar, corn starch, refined flour to the same pan. Keep stirring until it becomes thick for 8-10 mins.
  5. Now add the vanilla extract, mix it well and add the whipped cream.
  6. Take the pudding off from the pan, let it cool and then start the arrangement. Arrange the kadayif and the pudding in alternate layers.
  7. Your Turkish Delight is ready to be served!
