Ingredients to make Mango Parwal

  • Parwal/ Pointed Gourd- 6
  • Sugar- 1 bowl
  • Mango pulp/puree- 1/2 cup
  • Mawa- 1/2 cup
  • Sugar powder 2 tsp
  • Dry fruits- 1/2 cup
  • A pinch of green color
  • Milk powder- 1 tbsp

How to make Mango Parwal

  1. Peel the parwal pieces and make a hollow in the center.
  2. Add 2 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar in a bowl to make the syrup. Then cook these parwals in this syrup till they are soft, next add in the green color. Leave this parwal in the syrup for 1 hour.
  3. Cook the mawa well, then add the mango puree, milk powder, and dry fruits. Mix it well together.
  4. Take the parwal pieces and stuff it with the mawa mixture and garnish it with dry fruits.
