Ingredients to make Chocolate Dry Fruit Muffins

  • Maida (all purpose flour) 1 and 3/4 cup
  • baking soda 1 Tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  • curd 1 cup
  • Essence (of choice) 1 tsp
  • oil 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp
  • Milk 1 cup
  • lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Dry fruits (Almond, walnut, tutti fruity, raisins) 1 cup crushed and sliced

How to make Chocolate Dry Fruit Muffins

  1. In a bowl mix the oil, curd, sugar and essence together.
  2. Seive the maida/flour twice and set it aside. Add the baking powder and baking soda to this maida/flour.
  3. Gradually mix in the maida and it's contents into the liquid mixture. Mix by cut and fold method and make sure there are no lumps left behind.
  4. Add milk as desired to set the consistency to a slightly flowy but not runny batter. Finally add the lemon juice and transfer it to the greased preheated cupcake moulds.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees C for 25-30 mins.
  6. Let it cool and serve.

My Tip:

You can replace the dry fruits with chocolate chips or butterscotch balls.
