My own creation of a protein rich recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 and 1/2 cup of mixed dal (moong dal, chana dal, urad dal) soak it for 4-5 hours
  2. 1 teaspoon green chilli paste
  3. 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  4. 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  5. 2 tablespoon grated cheese
  6. 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  7. 2 tablespoon green coriander chutney
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil as required to cook the pudla

Instructions

  1. Grind the soaked mixed dals with a little water to form a batter like that of a dosa batter consistency.
  2. In the batter, add the chilli, ginger, garlic paste and salt to taste. The pudla batter is ready!
  3. Heat a non-stick dosa pan and make the pudla similarly to how you cook the dosa. Cook it in oil/ghee and make 6 pudlas that are not too thick and equal in size.
  4. On a flat surface, keep one pudla and apply the green chutney, then keep the second pudla on top and apply cheese on it. Now keep the third pudla on top of it and apply the tomato sauce, press it properly and make a tight roll, cut it into pieces of 1/2 and 1 inch size.
  5. Arrange it in a serving plate with toothpicks on it to serve as a starter.
