Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Maida 2 cups
  2. Oil 5 tb sp
  3. water to knead
  4. Khoya or Mawa 300 gm
  5. Dry Fruits (Almonds, Cashews , Kishmish)
  6. Coconut powder 4 tbsp
  7. Elaichee or cardamom 2 to 3
  8. powder sugar 1 cup
  9. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Roast Khoya on medium heat for 20 to 25 min. Till it become brown.
  2. Cool it properly
  3. Add powdered sugar , elaichi powder, Dry fruits and coconut powder
  4. Add oil to maida. Mix it well to give moyan. Now slowly add water. Knead it to soft but firm dough.
  5. Keep dough aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Roll small small thin circles from dough. In between put 1 tsp khoya mixture. Fold to make semi circle. Stick sides with water. Use fork to bind the corners or use gujiya mould.
  7. Fry them slowly on medium heat.
  8. Serve
