Chinese Sandwich

Ingredients to make Chinese Sandwich

  • Grated cabbage- 1/2 cup
  • Grated boiled potato- 1/2 cup
  • Grated carrot- 1/2 Cup
  • Finely chopped capsicum- 1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped green chilli- 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger- 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped garlic- 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilli sauce- 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce- 1/2 tsp
  • vinegar- 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
  • Bread Slices- 4
  • butter- 2 tbsp
  • oil - 1 tbsp (for the Vegetables)

How to make Chinese Sandwich

  1. Heat a kadai and add 1 tbsp of oil in it. Now add the ginger, chilli, garlic into this hot oil and saute for 2-3 minutes on a low flame.
  2. Now add all the grated vegetables and saute for 2-3 minutes on a high flame.
  3. Next, add salt, black pepper, green chilli sauce, vinegar, soya sauce and mix it well together. Turn off the flame and keep this aside.
  4. Heat the grill sandwich maker. Apply butter on the bread slices.
  5. Then apply the vegetable mixture on the bread slice and cover it with another bread slice. Place this sandwich in the hot grilled sandwich maker and grill for 5 minutes or until it turns golden brown in colour.
  6. Serve it with ketchup.
