ABOUT Paneer Bhuna Roll RECIPE

Crispy rolls with a delicious paneer stuffing cooked in a cashew nut base. An instant hunger supplement for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour /maida 1 and 1/2 cup
  2. Cottage cheese/ Paneer 100 gm
  3. Chopped onion 4 medium sized
  4. Ginger- Garlic paste 2 tablespoons
  5. Cumin seeds 1/2 tablespoon
  6. Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon
  7. Coriander powder 2 tablespoons
  8. Red chilli paste 1 tablespoon
  9. Cashew nut paste 1/2 cup
  10. Curd/Yogurt 1/4 cup
  11. Garam masala 1 tablespoon
  12. Chopped coriander leaves- a handful
  13. Vinegar- 1 teaspoon
  14. Salt as per taste
  15. Refined oil/Mustard oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Make a dough with the all purpose flour, salt and water and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok and fry the cumin seeds till the aroma develops. Add half the chopped onions and fry for a few minutes before adding the garlic and ginger paste.
  3. Next add the red chilli paste, followed by turmeric powder and coriander powder. Stir for a few seconds and add the cashew nut paste, curd, salt and cook for a few minutes before adding the garam masala.
  4. Next add the cottage cheese/paneer and cook for a few minutes before sprinkling some chopped coriander leaves on top.
  5. Next take the dough and make some dough balls, then roll paratha shapes of it with some oil.
  6. Once done, put 1-2 tbsp of the paneer mixture in the middle, then put some chopped fresh onions on top and add a few drops of vinegar. Roll the paratha and seal both the ends.
  7. Heat oil in a wok and fry the rolls from both sides.
  8. Eat it whole or cut into pieces and serve it with sauce.
